In December 2008, after the news of our own colt's inability to serve as our sire, we purchased the sensational colt Ascot Magnum Silk from the Ascot Stud in Victoria. This colt represents years of diligent breeding by Melanie and the breeding we most admired out of the UK. Not only did his breeding stand up, so did his siblings, being a full brother to Ascot Choir Master and the sensational filly Ascot Elizabeth Arden who is continuing her showring successes. His dam is a multi Royal show champion under saddle and his sire has produced countless Royal show winners.
Magnum is an exceptional colt not only chosen for his breeding but also his exceptional looks, movement and temperament. This divine little colt will cross superbly with our mares and we anticipate some extraordinary stock.
His debut show saw him follow on his families footstep.
